It is obvious that we are huge fans of Portland ? so when we found out that Travel & Leisure had put out a list of the best cities in the US for solo travelers, we were excited (but not surprised) to learn that Portland made the cut! If you are traveling alone, Portland is a great option, with no shortage of delicious restaurant options, easy and reliable public transportation, and an abundance of things to occupy your time, both in the city and in some of the beautiful natural spaces surrounding it!
